Whether you’re a first-time founder or a seasoned entrepreneur, we believe great ideas can come from anyone and anywhere. To qualify for free support, founders need to demonstrate that their product aligns with Scotland’s mission to build a sustainable, healthy, and inclusive future.

The product or service should contribute to Scotland’s social or environmental priorities, focusing on areas like sustainability, health, and community well-being.

The idea can be a concept, prototype, or actively developed product.

Our program is led by specialists with decades of experience in tech startups and engineering development, who understand the unique needs and pressures of entrepreneurship. Our experts have helped launch successful products across sectors, ensuring that founders have access to the tools, insights, and community they need to thrive. The Scotland Impact Founders Program provides structured, specialised support to founders working on ideas that align with Scotland’s priorities in the environment, healthcare, well-being, and other emerging areas. 

We welcome and listen to everyone's ideas, however based on our engineering and technology expertise the most highly eligible ideas may include Software as a Service (SaaS), consumer hardware products, robotics, healthcare / medical hardware, service-based solutions, with a strong engineering or technical foundation. With decades of expertise across sectors, our team offers practical insights into transforming initial concepts into fully realized products, whether in medical devices, SaaS, healthcare, deep tech, robotics, consumer products, B2B solutions, or beyond.
